Credit Book

With Visual ClubMate's Credit Book module, clubs have the ability to manage a variety of liabilities including Pro Shop Credits, Pre-paid Services and Gift Certificates.

Pre-Paid Services

Most clubs regularly sell discounted packages of services in order to increase service volume and revenue.  To correctly account for this transaction, the sale becomes deferred revenue and only becomes actual revenue when the service is actually provided. 

To help a club manage this data, and to eliminate a manual "punch-card" system, clubs can implement the Credit Book.

The Prepaid Session Manager keeps track and reports all packages purchased, the total sessions used and remaining for all members.

The system is designed to be used in conjunction with Visual ClubMate's user-friendly touch-screen Point-of-Sale. 
 

Pro Shop Credits

Commonly used at Country Clubs, the purpose of the Credit Book is to manage the distribution and redemption of tournament cash awards in the form of pro shop credits.  This is necessary for golfers to abide by USGA® rules in order to retain their amateur status

The Credit Book allows cash awards from contests and events to be applied to member/guest purchases at the point-of-sale.

Choose Which Inventory Items Can Be Purchased With Awards -- Users can define which inventory items may be purchased with the credit book thereby allowing a club to allow credit book purchases to be targeted to specific product categories.

Easy access to a history screen allows the user to quickly review how the credit book is being used for awards and purchases for either a specific event or a specific customer.
